The role:

  • My client are looking for applicants with a strong knowledge of change risk and commercial products, ideally from an agile environment.
  • You will be able to build strong relationships with stakeholders in order to understand their requirements, and then create industry best practices surrounding emerging risks.
  • You will be seen as an SME, and be able to provide technical support and assistance to the business using own judgement in risk analysis and management
  • Your role will include being able to define current state, and work with stakeholders to create and then execute a future state strategy, which encompasses all aspects of risk (eg operational, conduct etc).
  • You will also be responsible for Leading a team of high performing individuals, playing a key role in their ongoing personal development and career progression, whilst expanding the capabilities of the broader team.
  • Detailed understanding of how the Commercial Banking Division operates and the products it provides to clients.

Requirements:

  • The ideal candidate will have 3+ years within the retail banking sector, with either a focus on corporate or retail banking customers.
  • You will be expected to demonstrate a high quality understanding of multiple different aspects of risk, and how to apply this in a change environment.
  • Ability to analyse data, drawing trends and conclusions to inform areas for review and support Risk Opinions which add valuable insight.
  • Ability to make informed judgements and conclusions and assess implications and priorities.
  • Excellent ability to communicate in all forms and to audiences at all levels both internally and externally.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to build strong stakeholder relationships both internally and externally.
  • Strong collaborative approach bringing together diverse opinions and conflicting agendas and priorities.
  • Ability to influence at all levels of the organisation including individually, at committee & other fora and external level.

Salaries range from GBP40,000 through to GBP100,000 dependent on years of experience and suitability for the role.
