Position: Transport Planner
Office Location: Manchester, North West
Salary: GBP25,000 - GBP30,000
The Manchester-based team of a national transport planning consultancy has an opportunity available for a Transport Planner with a background in development planning.
Working within the company's head office, you will have the opportunity to get involved with a broad range of developments across the North West, including projects within the retail, residential, education, retail and leisure sectors.
Vacancy Specification
A good background in development planning;
Capable of producing transport assessments, statements & travel plans;
Proficiency with Arcady, Picady & LinSig;
Experienced in master planning & feasibility;
Strong communication & presentation skills;
Degree level education.If successful, you will join a very busy team in Manchester, who work closely with the organisations' other established offices across the country. You will have the opportunity to develop your project management abilities, whilst having the opportunity to be part of a growing team with a strong forward workload. Long term, there are also significant opportunities for career progression, with a structured route for rising in seniority within the business.
At present, the organisation offers specialist services including:
Transport statements & assessments;
Highway design;
Travel Planning;
Local Plan promotion & planning appeals;
Environmental Impact Assessments.The organisation is offering a starting salary of up to GBP30,000 for the right candidate, along with:
