The Next Step Automotive Recruitment are currently seeking an Automotive Assistant Service Manager on behalf of our client, a well-known local Dealership Group for their Suffolk-based Car Dealership.
Assistant Service Manager - What we are looking for -

Assistant Service Manager - Responsibilities -
As Assistant Service Manager, you'll form an important part of the Aftersales team. Adopting a hands-on approach, you'll provide leadership, mentorship and motivation to the Workshop team, providing an all-imporant interface with the front-counter advisors whilst interacting with Senior Management.
You should be comfortable with implementing processes, whilst monitoring and measuring the performance of your team. You will play a part in all aspects of the smooth running of the Aftersales department, towards the absolute satisfaction of all customers that pass through.
You will be comfortable with a high through-put of work whilst keeping multiple plates spinning. You'll oversee job cards and workshop loading, ensuring efficient use of available resources towards a streamlined end-to-end process and will be expected to provide cover for the Service Manager in times of absence.
Assistant Service Manager - Requirements -
* At least 2 years of experience in a Dealership Aftersales role
* Confident Leadership acumen
* Experience of DMS or CRM systems such as Kerridge, Power or Pinnacle
* A full driving licence is essential
