WHO ARE THEY???

My diverse West Wales based public sector client is looking for a Training Simulation Technician to support the Training Department. The role is temporary until 31 December 2019 initially with the possibility of being extended and starting asap. The hours of work are 37 hours a week Monday - Friday 9 am - 5 pm and is salaried at GBP19,554 pro rata.

THE POSITION???

* Quite a physical role which will involve preparing and cutting wood for exercises.

* Collecting and returning vehicles supplied by the DVLA, Police, or any other agency to/from the designated location.

* Collecting designated vehicle/s from a given location and returning vehicle/s to a designated location after use and as necessary.

* Maintaining precise accurate up to date records of all vehicles that are collected, stored, used and then disposed of. Including where necessary the submission of relevant paperwork.

* De- pollute and dispose of any vehicle of fluids in accordance with applicable Legislation/Guidance and Service Policy.

* Set up vehicle/s for use in training events in the designated area - Using a fork lift/Hiab is required.

* Lay out any equipment as required and to clear away after use.

* Clear up any vehicle/s and/or any vehicle debris following their use in training events.

* Clear away and tidy up after any training event involving vehicles.

* Prepare and cut (using designated electric saw) wooden boards in accordance with the requirements for exercise schedules, or for storage.

* Ensure that the designated Training Delivery area/s are maintained in a clean, tidy and safe condition and in a good state of repair.

* Undertake minor repairs/Servicing of items of Personal Protective Equipment and/or general equipment.

* Undertake any non-specialist aspects of internal and external building maintenance including minor repair and painting etc.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR???

* Experience of working in a similar post.

* Enthusiastic individual who's not afraid to chip in wherever needed.

* Happy with the physical aspect of the role.

* Full clean UK Driving licence.

* Organised and professional manner.

* Good Admin experience and knowledge of MS Office.

* Happy to be trained to use in house systems and the ability to pick things up quickly
