Supply Desk are looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual to join an improving primary school in Hale Barns (WA16) as a KS1 Teaching Assistant. To start ASAP with a potential to become permanent, this KS1 teaching assistant opportunity is available to anyone with the right blend of experiences and qualifications. Assist the development of individuals
Maintaining discipline and encouraging good behaviour
Small group work - identifying gaps in learning - delivering intervention sessions
Work with the class teacher and other staff members to provide an excellent learning environment
Work on a 1:1/small group basis with pupils who may have communication issues/disengaged
Attend to pupil's personal needs when necessary
Person Specification???
Knowledge and experience of the KS1 curriculum and phonics would be desirable
Have a proactive approach to assisting the teacher
You must be a resilient, creative and friendly individual
