This post will predominately be based in Leiston. However, there will be some teaching at the Ipswich Campus.
Up to GBP35,811 per annum pro rata
0.6 FTE, 21 hours per week (up to 14 teaching hours and 7 preparation and other duties)
We are seeking a professional with expertise in Games Design, including games development and concept, to teach on all courses from level 1 to level 3 in Creative Media Production area. This role will involve teaching across a breadth of practical and theoretical units. An ability to teach a wide range of design focused games design skills, including a knowledge of programming in Unity 3D.
You should have a Degree in a related area (or equivalent professional qualification) and a teaching qualification or a commitment to obtaining one within a specified time after commencement. You will also have literacy and numeracy qualifications at level 2 equivalent or above. The applicant may also be required to undertake relevant quality assurance training and certification to meet UAL awarding body requirements for assessment and internal verification of student work.
