Are you a confident PhD graduate within Life Sciences looking for your first role in Technical Sales? Do you have a keen passion for international travel that you want to incorporate in your work?

A growing business focussing on antibody and peptide technology based in the Teesside area are looking to recruit a PhD Sales Specialist. The organisation are keen to get passionate individuals who have a strong scientific knowledge within the field of Biochemistry or related to join them. They will work with a number of professionals in the field to promote and sell their bespoke products.

The Role:

In this role you will develop relationships through cold-calling, visiting clients and networking events. You will work in a fact paced environment selling the bespoke service this business offers to a wide range of businesses across the UK and Europe. Within this role the opportunity for international travel is extensive however not essential.

Given the nature of the role, all training will be provided in the role to get you off the ground as a confident Sales Specialist in the field of peptides and antibodies.

Requirements:

  • PhD in Life Science, ideally Biochemistry or similar
  • Excellent communication skills, possessing the ability to persuade and influence individuals
  • Resilient attitude and a keen hunger for working in a sales environment
  • Language skills in German, French or any Scandinavian languages would be desirable but not essential
