Executive Chef/Manager
Our client is seeking an Executive Chef and Manager to join the owners' team at the start of this exciting project. The new restaurant, which will have 160 covers both inside and out, will be a fusion of British and European style and flavours. Based near Haverhill, Suffolk, the Chef Manager will be required to work closely with the owners and get the project up and running for the October soft launch.
The role:
Exciting new territory, you will have strong operational skills, bring your own style, and possibly your own team. AS Chef Manager you can tailor this role as part of the management team and stamp your own style. You will:
* Be part of the management team,
* You will need at least two years management experience.
* Experience of setting the business up from the first day
* Recruiting the right team to ensure success
* Manage the menu design at inception and on an ongoing basis.
* Plan seasonal events
* Set up Supplier channels
* Train on Epos system
* Manage Costings for profitability, Cash Flow and Budgets
* Provide regular reports to the owners
* Make the role your own.
The candidate:
You will be comfortable to be part of the management team
* Bi-lingual English speakers -desirable not essential
* Have a flair for new ideas and not be afraid to escalate these.
* Be a strong communicator
* Qualified chef with two years industry experience
* Food Hygiene Qualified
* Ideally First Aid Qualified
* Experience of Epos System
* Hands on Strategic Planner!
* Team Spirit
* Desire to make a difference.
