About Us

We are Support Dogs, a charity that provides, trains and supports specialist assistance dog partnerships to increase the independence and quality of life for those affected by autism, epilepsy and physical disability.

We are now looking for an Assistant Fundraiser to join us on a part time basis, working three days a week.

Your Role

As an Assistant Fundraiser, you will give additional support to our fundraising team so we have the capacity to steward and grow our existing support base. This will increase our ability to save and improve the lives of children and adults facing some of the most challenging medical conditions.

Working with the Trust and Development Manager, you will:

- Assist in the research and application of funds for the charity
- Research and provide data to support the development of additional income streams for the charity
- Support the Fundraising Manager in developing income from additional streams, including community and corporate fundraising

About You 

To join us as an Assistant Fundraiser, you will need:

- A creative and personable, but professional approach to fundraising
- Strong writing and communication skills
- Business development skills 

Other organisations may call this role Junior Fundraiser, Fundraising Assistant, Trainee Fundraiser, Fundraising Co-ordinator, Charity Fundraising Assistant, Assistant Community Fundraiser, or Assistant Corporate Fundraiser.

This is a part time role, working three days per week (22.5 hours a week).
