Parts Quality Coordinator - Goodwood/Chichester

Salary: GBP30,000 Per annum. (FTE)

Duration: 6 month contract (Potential for extension depending on performance.)

The Role
This position provides support to the Warehouse Planning and Operations department to ensure a smooth process flow for customer Parts Quality Resource.

The Parts Quality Coordinator's standard operating hours are;
Monday - Friday 09:00 to 17:00 with the occasional extended day around client requirements which will be pre-approved and communicated.

Attention to detail at the highest level is a pre-requisite and superior client service levels are essential. The successful individual will always strive for perfection and "right first time" solutions.

What we are looking for

• Ability to prioritise and ensure all flagged parts are inspected with relevant documentation
• Effective communication skills
• Meticulous attention to detail
• Excellent IT skills including Microsoft packages
• Ability to work as part of a team or on own initiative
• Project Management skills

Key accountabilities

• Management of the quality inspection of parts
• Liaison with the client's quality service provider (QDL) and Parts Quality department
• Liaison with the wider Aftersales Parts Operations team to ensure parts movements are traceable through the inspection process
• Management and tracking parts movements in SAP
• Creating and monitoring entries and cross referencing aftersales stock
• Managing and creating the inspection plans and process for parts and part programmes within the lead-time
• Managing the quality checking of customer credit return parts
• Escalate any quality related issues within the warehouses and manage their resolution
• Supporting the LQS (Logistics Quality Specialist) function with quality related problem solving
• Able to discuss parts quality related findings with supplier base
• Invoice control from QDL

Desirable

• Client service
• Full UK/EU driving licence
• Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Access
• Ability to create and develop bespoke reports
• System knowledge advantageous eg. SAP
