Quality Controller

Our client is a quality Miller of the finest Scottish Oatmeal and Pearl Barley for over 100 years! They are now seeking a Quality Controller to join the team in Kelso and work alongside the Senior Quality Controller.

You will working Monday - Thursday 9am - 6pm & Friday 9am - 3:30pm with 1 hour lunch each day.

Key duties;

• Daily line checks
• Daily bag weight cross check
• Daily magnets and metal detector checks
• Daily in process sampling
• Daily workwear laundry
• Monthly site inspections
• Cross cover

What do you need?

• Accuracy and clarity with all paperwork, sampling and testing
• Good timekeeping essential
• Ability to fulfil work role with limited supervision
• Living close to site would be beneficial
• Your work role involves both seated and site activities (inc ladders and stairs)
• Full training will be given to the right applicant - experience in this field not necessary
