Business Development Executive

Our client, a stunning, well-established Hotel Operation based in Mid-Cornwall is seeking a Business Development Executive to join their team on a permanent, part-time basis. This is an incredible opportunity for a motivated individual with the drive to exceed expectations and generate revenue whilst developing long-term client relationships.  Our client is offering excellent training and development to the successful candidate to ensure they can make a success of the role.

This role is offered on a 24 hour per week, permanent basis.

The Role: Business Development Executive

This is a truly exciting role, offering significant long-term development for the right candidate. The Business Development Executive will be responsible for generating and developing revenue streams to the hotel whilst building strong, long-term client relationships.

This will be a highly varied role; key responsibilities will include but not be limited to;

  • Seek new clients and promote the Hotel appropriately
  • Attend networking events to generate and develop client relationships
  • Build strong, long-term client relationships
  • Develop in-depth knowledge about the services and products offered by the hotel
  • Host events on site and conduct show-rounds
  • Keep abreast of industry trends and competitors
  • Reply to guest feedback promptly and in an appropriate tone
  • Seek feedback from events and clients and feedback to appropriate managers
  • Supporting the FOH team to create memorable evets
  • Introduce a thoughtful and well-budgeted events program
  • Report to relevant management teams
  • Abide by all company policies

Candidate Specification: Business Development Executive

For this position we are seeking applications from candidates with the right transferable skills to generate and develop exceptional client relationships. The successful candidate should have some interest or experience in the hospitality industry. Ideally candidates will have some previous sales, business development, revenue or events management experience.
