Area to be covered: South England with focus on inside the M25 (London)

Remuneration: £34,000 - £54,000 + 20% bonus

The role of the Technical Sales Manager – Fasteners / Rainscreen Facades will involve:

• Field sales position selling a high quality manufactured range of fasteners, profiles and accessories for rainscreen façade applications
• All of your time will be spent selling directly to main contractors, specialist façade contractors, building envelope sub-contractors, large facades installers, distributors and fabricators
• The majority of your time will be spend generating new business relationships in particular the London region, with the remaining 30% managing existing business
• Dealing with average order values ranging from £500-£100k+ depending on the size of the project
• Being comfortable identifying the wants/needs of a client and therefore selling the appropriate products
• Attending the relevant training courses to ensure that you have an understanding of the market
• Inheriting a patch that covering South of England (Birmingham down) however with key focus on the London & Home Counties

The ideal applicant will be Technical Sales Manager – Fasteners / Rainscreen Facades with:

• Must have a demonstrable track record within construction field sales selling a technical related product such rainscreen cladding, facades, fasteners, fixings and profiles
• Must have sold to main contractors, specialist façade contractors, building envelope sub-contractors, large facades installers, distributors and fabricators
• Ideally have contacts within the M25 with main contractors, installers and distributors
• An understanding of the current market, market trends and the ensuring the business remains ahead of its competitors
• Skills to spot an opportunity within a sales pitch, for example assessing equipment on a site and highlighting the importance of particular products
• Strong negotiation skills with an analytical mindset ensuring you pay attention to the finer details of products/sales
• A hungry go-getter who is eager to exceed targets and maximise profit
