Accounts Semi-Senior / Senior

Chartered Accountancy Practice in the heart of Newcastle is seeking an experienced full time Accounts Semi / Senior to join their growing team. This established Practice boasts nearly 100 years of service and is keen to continue growing in the Newcastle Area. The Accountancy Practice works for a wide range of clients including Construction, Agriculture and Service industries offering a full range of services.

The successful Accounts Semi- Senior / Senior will join a close knit team within the medium sized practice and report to the Accounts Teams Manager. This Practice uses Sage and Xero software.

Accounts Senior Position Overview

Producing Statutory Accounts

Production Management Accounts

Producing Monthly Accounts

Working closely with the Client Accountant to meet deadlines

Liaising with clients where necessary

Answering Client queries

Accounts Senior Position Requirements

2-4 years' experience within an Accountancy Practice essential

Previous experience using Sage and/or Xero essential

AAT qualification preferable

QBE encouraged to apply

General Computer literacy

Attention to detail

Commutable Distance to Newcastle

Accounts Senior Position Remuneration

Salary: GBP20,000 - GBP25,000 (open to negotiation)

Working hours: 7.5 hours days (Mon -Thurs)
7 hours on a Friday

Flexible working hours start time between 8 - 9:30

Holiday: 20 days plus Bank Holidays
