Location: Exminster, Devon
Salary: £29,507 to £31,966 per annum - Applicants should expect under normal circumstances to receive an offer at the bottom of the advertised range
Hours: Full time
Your reserves are on the verge of a step change and in the first two years you will support your team to develop and integrate our visitor offer in East Devon, build on our work to make our Exe Estuary reserves climate resilient and deliver planning mitigation for cirl buntings at our Ashill and Labrador Bay nature reserves.
You will be a member of our new West Country Area leadership team and will play a key role in shaping our strategic direction and delivery for people and nature beyond the boundaries of your reserve.
Are you the right person to make our ambitious plans a reality and develop our reserves operation? You'll be energetic, practically minded, bold and astute, able to deliver an ambitious work programme, know what makes a great visitor experience and be commercially minded.
With a proven track record of managing nature reserves, you will have a good grasp of project management, land management, visitor operations, compliance & risk management, leading and managing staff / volunteers, and working with communities and stakeholders.
