Fitzrovia Youth in Action (FYA) are looking to recruit an experienced fundraiser with a passion to improve the lives of disadvantaged young people living in London.
We are looking for a fundraiser with a strong track record of generating significant income from trusts, foundations and other sources of grant funding and who wants to deploy their skills and experience working in a small and dynamic organisation.
FYA are running a number of engagement, youth social action and employability programmes utilising sports, community events and peer education and mentoring to empower young people to improve their lives, support their peers and contribute positively to their community.
This is an exciting time to join FYA in a role that offers you the opportunity to make a real difference to the lives of young people. We have a strong and successful track record and building upon this we are looking to develop a number of key strands of work over the coming years, in particular activities and services linked to a new youth-run community space opening in 2020.
Flexibility - full time (35 hrs/week) and potential remote working considered. Occasional working in weekend or evening may be required
How to apply
To apply for this position, please forward a CV together with a brief supporting statement (no more than 2 sides of A4) addressing the job description and person specification. Please ensure that your application fully addresses the key requirements for the role.
FYA is an equal opportunities employer.
Closing Date: Wednesday 23 October, 11:59pm.
No sales calls please from companies offering support with recruitment - we are not interested!
