Walters People have partnered up with a global drinks business to source a Finance Assistant to join their South West London headquarters.
Are you a recent graduate with at least a years' experience looking for a new challenge? Are you looking for a role that offers exposure to the global marketing team and the opportunity to grow within the business? If so, my client is an industry leading drinks business who were established over 100 years' ago and due to continued growth, they are looking to hire a Finance Assistant to join their South West London headquarters.
Reporting into an impressive finance manager, you will be tasked to support the global marketing finance team and assist in management reporting and maintenance of processes and controls for all key transactions. Further responsibilities include:
Accounts payable - Purchase orders
Posting journals for review
Preparing management accounts for marketing investments and overheads
Production of all balance sheet reconciliations in line with group policy
Support for the finance analyst on ad hoc planning processesThe ideal candidate will be a recent graduate with 1-2 years' experience working in a finance team with aspirations to start an accounting qualification (ACCA, CIMA, ACA or overseas equivalent). Interpersonally, you will be dynamic, and confident to challenge and push back on senior stakeholders in the business. Furthermore, the ideal individual quick learner, organised and have a keen eye for detail.
On offer is a salary of GBP29,000 plus study support
