Essex Salary: From GBP40,000
Our client is a leading environmental consultancy
Currently seeking a senior Ecologist to manage a small team based in Essex.
Our client has a reputation for quality and service offering a stimulating and rewarding environment to work.
The post: will involve a focus on Ecological Impact Assessment (EcIA), in addition to project management and coordinating protected species surveys.
You will be an integral part in supporting and leading our clients' expanding ecology team.
Main responsibilities: • Ecological Impact Assessment (EcIA) • Habitats Regulations Assessment (HRA) • Protected species surveys • Preliminary Ecological Appraisals • Overseeing applications for protected species licences
• Client liaison • Preparing fee proposals
Candidates should have, • A Degree in Ecology or a relevant discipline • consultancy experience • experience of EcIA and HRA • CIEEM membership
• At least one protected species licence (preferably Bat or GCN)
• Report writing capabilities, experience in preparing fee proposals and tenders •
Full, UK driving licence
