FYTE are delighted to be assisting an award winning Client in their search for a FTC Procurement Manager based in Inverclyde.
Applications are welcome from individuals with experience of conducting major Contract negotiations and a working knowledge of the Supply Chain and contract processes including European and National legislation. They must also have an awareness of new technological and best practice advances in Supply Chain, coupled with knowledge and experience of Public Sector Procurement. Experience of working within a change project/environment and practical knowledge of delivering contracts/agreements is also a requirement of the role.
It its preferred, although not essential that applicants have a degree and/or relevant professional qualification and significant contract experience, be a Member of the Charted Institute of Purchasing and Supplies or equivalent qualification with a proven track record of delivering optimum results in a multi-faceted Procurement operation together with a comprehensive knowledge of Supply Chain governance. Technical/Engineering experience and knowledge and good communication and stakeholder engagement experience is also desirable.
