Do you have a keen interest in and experience of managing a substantially sized Gas and Electrical maintenance team to tenanted and empty properties? Are you passionate about driving continuous improvement, and striving to be the best?


If so, then we have an exciting opportunity for a committed Gas and Electrical Services Manager to join our Home Maintenance Services Team!


‘Deliver high quality homes and services for our customers’ is one of our five strategic aims, and the one that sets out our commitment to keeping our homes in great condition and we are looking for a Service Manager to help support our vision.


As a Service Manager, you will be required to support, motivate and manage the Senior Services Team Leader and the Services Teams Planning and Administration functions to achieve high performance, productivity, quality standards and customer service. You will also pro-actively involve customers in service delivery and attend Customer Forums as required, dealing with higher level complaints in a considerate and honest manner.


To be successful in your application for this role you must have an in-depth knowledge of repairs and maintenance services, including planning and scheduling systems. Experience of managing substantially sized repairs and maintenance teams is also required.


The right person will possess a HNC in Building Studies, or  relevant equivalent level qualification, and be a member of one of the following professional bodies (or committed to working towards this)  –


Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB)

Institute of Asset Management

Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS).


Excellent communication skills and the ability to interpret trends and data are considered a must, alongside experience of delivering continuous improvement to improve productivity and efficiency in service delivery that meets strategic goals.
