Mental Capacity Act & Safeguarding Adults Trainer
HOURS: 37.5 hours per week
BASE: Heritage House / Agile Worker
SALARY: £30,520 - £37,016

We are an innovative, dynamic and forward thinking independent social work organisation. focus has led on introducing an integrated health and social care database; created a multidisciplinary hospital team and has an integrated single point of access function.
Due to the expansion of the MCA Training function, an excellent opportunity has arisen for someone to join our Workforce Development Team at focus. If you are passionate about ensuring the health and social care workforce in North East Lincolnshire understand the complexities of the Mental Capacity Act and Safeguarding Adults, then we would be very pleased to hear from you.
The role will involve working with the MCA & Safeguarding Trainer (Lead) to design a dynamic suite of materials to deliver MCA and Safeguarding Adults education programmes to the health and social care workforce. You will also assess trainee’s knowledge and evaluate the effectiveness of the training you provide.
An excellent understanding and working knowledge of the Mental Capacity Act 2005 along with experience of working with Section 42 of the Care Act 2014 and a passion for teaching is essential for this role.
