Junior Farm Manager
We are currently working on a truly unique Junior Farm Manager position for a friendly family fresh produce business based in Leicestershire. The business is still very new which is what makes this role so exciting - you have the opportunity to help the farm grow and shape a fantastic future for both you and the farm itself.
The farm is committed to growing high quality salads and providing its customers with fantastic service and we are looking for individuals that fit in with this ethos. You'll be responsible for supervising the farm staff, planting and harvesting the crop, crop walking and overseeing the day-to-day farming operations.
We are looking for candidates who have a degree or similar in horticulture or agriculture. You will ideally have experience of working on a fresh produce farm and be confident in using modern machinery; however we are happy to look at graduates who have perhaps completed a year's placement of multiple harvests. Previous experience in managing or supervising staff would be beneficial but is not essential.
