Key Support Worker

YMCA is seeking to appoint a Key Support Worker to join their team providing support to young people in Wolverhampton.

We are looking for an innovative, creative and committed individual with experience of working with vulnerable young people. You will be required to provide support to a caseload of young people who are residing within the YMCA supported housing. You will have experience of giving advice and guidance, working within a supported housing environment, providing support to vulnerable young people to help them develop the skills they need to live independently. You must also have a proven record of engaging disadvantaged young people. Relevant training, study or qualification in the area of Advice and Guidance and/or housing and welfare is essential, ideally an NVQ level 3 or above.

Please note that weekend, evening, twilight shift and bank holiday cover as part of a rota system is a requirement of the post.

The applicant must complete an enhanced DBS check before taking up the role.
