Credit Controller

My client, a market-leading employer in their niche sector, are seeking to recruit a Credit Controller to join them on a permanent basis.

Working alongside the Credit Manager you will be responsible for the collection of debts in line with agreed targets.

Day to day duties include:

• Contacting clients via telephone, email, and letter, sending out required documentation, i.e. copy invoices, statements chasing letters etc.
• Identifying, investigating and facilitating the prompt resolution of credit control queries.
• Maintaining notes so that all stakeholders can view the account status.
• Liaising with account managers regarding clients who have reached their credit limits.
• Input of receipts and allocation of those receipts against accounts.
• Reporting any overdue debts.
• Providing cash flow forecasts when required by Finance Director.
• Prepare Credit reports for Credit Control meetings.
• Managing a busy portfolio of customers, build relations with customers to help recover debts.

You must have at least 12 months' experience in a similar credit control role. You will also need to have strong and clear communication skills as a proven ability to build long lasting relationships will be required.
