About the role
The day to day

It will be down to you to embed a culture of customers come first in your branch. Youll do that by acting as role model, by living and breathing our purpose and values, and by creating the kind of positive team environment that allows everyone to flourish. Youll also help to shape our business as a whole. Part of your focus will be on implementing our lettings strategy to help us grow our business organically. We aim to do that by putting an even greater emphasis on our customers and delivering our sales and lettings services through one cohesive branch network. As well as that, well need you to build a solid understanding of the competition in your area and to lead the creation of solutions that will keep us one step ahead.

Your responsibilities will also include:

  • Leading the financial performance of your branch for lettings, driving sustainable
    growth in your area and delivering on your branch performance targets
  • Owning the development and implementation of your business plan for your branch (with support from our Regional Director)
  • Using MI and trend data to optimise the branchs performance, developing your understanding of the customer journey to create even more moments that matter
  • Taking ownership of branch, Feefo and Google reviews
  • Setting measurable targets and benchmarks for the team to enhance branch performance from both a customer and financial/cross-selling perspective
  • Developing talent across your team and within the territory through coaching and regular feedback sessions
  • Role models leadership within the territory
  • Ensuring compliance with all aspects of CPD and regulatory training
  • Coaching your team through assessed compliance training
  • Overseeing any audit and compliance or control issues quickly and effectively
  • Handling any performance management issues quickly and positively in line with our procedures, and always treating colleagues with dignity and respect

Your skills and experience

For this role, youll need a background in residential property lettings may be across different brands, along with experience of leading, motivating, coaching and developing a target-driven team. Youll understand how to manage a branch P&L and drive performance. An extensive knowledge of the geographic area youll be working in is important. Your strong business acumen means you can read and easily communicate P&L information, and you know how to plan and deliver a business development strategy. As well as that, well want to see excellent organisation and planning skills, and a clear, articulate communication style. Finally, a full driving licence is essential.
