Location: Near Macclesfield (LIVE-IN ACCOMMODATION PROVIDED)

Salary: GBP27,000 - GBP30,000 / GBP11 to GBP12 per hour (dependant on experience) + Excellent Benefits Package to include free use of facilities, pension and much more!

Do you have experience of working within a large volume catering environment perhaps in a hotel or a pub? If so, my client is a leading hotel group looking for Senior Sous Chefs to work in an amazing hotel in Cheshire.

We have a jaw dropping opportunity for a senior Chef to join our client's friendly hotel catering team.

Our client provides an amazing first-class service to its guests and they are very passionate about customer service. If you are looking for training and development with a first-class year-round leisure provider, then this is the opportunity for you.

The role is available on a permanent, Full time basis, 40 hours per week, working the between the hours as described above (subject to change)

Main responsibilities:

The right candidate will be front and centre promoting a fantastic brand image and a-list customer service. Being a Chef you need to be hands on as the hotel runs a very fast-paced kitchen environment.

Your communication and customer service skills need to be top notch and of the highest quality.

You will be hungry and motivated to work hard but also rewarded progression wise also. You must be up to date and have full knowledge of the food safety regulations

The role will include:

Learn set recipes and ensure all menu items are made to specification meeting a consistent high standard of quality and presentation.
Effectively communicate with other members of the kitchen staff taking on board regular feedback and instruction.
Develop your culinary skills through growing your knowledge of food and ingredients.
Be part of and engender a kitchen environment that is creative, nurturing and positive, that promotes learning and a passion for food and produce.
Ensure that Health & Safety and Food Safety standards are adhered to and recommendations from Food Safety Audits carried out.
Assist with ensuring all administration for the kitchen is completed according to all deadlines such as food hygiene records, stock takes, wastage sheets and cleanliness records.
To contribute and work effectively as part of a team.
