This is an exciting opportunity for an applicant with experience in project administration to work on a major programme of research on the neglected tropical disease cutaneous leishmaniasis.

We envisage this to be a career-furthering role in which the Project Administrator can gain and develop skills in the administration of applied health research.

You will work as a member of the multidisciplinary ECLIPSE team (Empowering people with cutaneous leishmaniasis: intervention programme to improve patient journey and reduce stigma via community education). ECLIPSE is a four-year applied healthcare programme which aims to improve the patient journey and reduce stigma for cutaneous leishmaniasis patients in the most marginalised and underserved communities in Brazil, Ethiopia and Sri Lanka. The programme is led by Dr Helen Price, Parasitologist, and Dr Lisa Dikomitis, Medical Anthropologist, together with an international, cross-cultural team that includes clinicians, anthropologists, psychologists, disease specialists and public health researchers.

Your role will be to provide day-to-day project administration to support the two Principal Investigators (Price and Dikomitis) and the wider ECLIPSE team. Responsibilities will include diary management, meeting organisation and note taking, making travel arrangements, budget tracking, processing risk assessment forms, expense claims and invoices, and helping with the organisation of two UK-based exhibitions. You will be a confident administrator with excellent attention to detail and some experience in maintaining office systems within a research environment.
