Sue Ross Recruitment have a great opportunity for a Community Fundraising Manager to join a well-established charitable organisation based in Sheffield for a period of 6 months covering a secondment. Assisting with events and undertaking some out of hours work to do so, you will be confident and pro-active, upholding the charity's values with an approachable and friendly manner.
The role of the Community Fundraising Manager will involve taking on the strategic management of the Community Fundraising team and performing the following duties:
• Achieving fundraising targets
• Financial Forecasting and developing Budgets
• Developing cultivation plans for community supporters
• Supporting various fundraising activities
• Maintaining and building relationships within the local community
• Managing a team of Fundraising Assistants and a Fundraising Coordinator
• Conducting appraisals
• Delivering monthly reports to the Fundraising Team
• Supporting the Head of Fundraising
• Liaising with internal and external stakeholders
• Working with the Marketing and Communications Team to help develop fundraising products
• Maintaining detailed records of fundraising activities

To be considered for this role the successful candidate must have previous experience of working within a fundraising team, combined with experience in a line management role. A full drivers licence and access to your own car is essential for this role. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are also essential.
