GBP22,000 - GBP25,000 per annum depending on experience

Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm early finish on a Friday

This is a fantastic opportunity with one of the UK's leading manufacturers; they are looking for a Sales Coordinator to join their team on a permanent basis. The purpose of the role will be to provide high level of support to customers from point or order acceptance and being the link between the customer and the business. The main focus of the role will be on managing the customers' expectations, proactively communication updates in a timely and professional manner.

Responsibilities and duties will include, but not limited to:

* Process orders and quotes onto the computer ERP system, printing and checking of acknowledgements prior to sending to the customer

* Being first point of contact for the customer for all enquiries relating to their order

* Obtaining clarification of detail from customers including checking of stock levels and credit account status

* Ensuring all contract review documents and discount authorisations are completed

* Handling overall management of large project orders

* Dealing with any customer complaints, investigation of non-conformances and credit notes

* Requisition of supplier quotes/purchase orders and cross site products

* Be able to read from technical drawings

Skills and Experience

To be considered for this opportunity you will have previous experience within a similar sales administration/ order processing position. You will have good problem solving skills with a high attention to detail as well as strong planning and organisational skills. The ideal candidate will have a manufacturing, engineering or installations background this would be advantageous but not essential. Due to location it is likely you will need to drive as it is unlikely you will be able to get to this location via public transport.
