Plant Nursery Operative/ Picker & Packer

If so, we have a great opportunity for you to join a leading, successful plant nursery in Wisbech.

This is a full time, permanent position with a direct contract with our client. The role is available for an immediate start however, our client is able to wait for someone who needs to work a 2 week notice period.

Plant Nursery Operative key responsibilities;

* Picking and packing orders- handling a wide range of plants

* Loading and unloading vehicles

* General plant nursery work

Plant Nursery Operative hours:

* Monday to Thursday 7:30am to 5pm

* Friday 7:30am to 3:15pm

* 1 hour unpaid break each day

Plant Nursery Operative pay:

* Starting pay is GBP8.21 per hour

* There will be an opportunity to increase pay overtime based on individual performance

Successful candidate will need:

* A good level of English with GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths

* Previous picking/ packing experience (preferred not essential)

* An interest in plants/ previous plant nursery experience (preferred not essential)

* Accuracy, attention to detail

* Good timekeeping

* Responsible and reliable, able to work on own initiative

* Clean, tidy worker

* Own transport is essential as location is on the outskirts of Wisbech
