About the role

We are seeking a lettings administrator to deliver high quality customer service to external and internal customers; to provide administrative support to the Lettings team, working with them to ensure we meet our targets.

The post is based in Chippenham, although you may be required to provide assistance to colleagues across the Group as and when necessary. The duties of the role include: creating property adverts, sending letters, answering telephone calls, filing and record keeping, managing customer and colleague enquiries and any other duty relevant to working within the Lettings team.

You will also assist with and coordinate the tenancy termination process with customers and internal departments and be the key liaison with Property Services and Void Management team.

About you

The successful candidate will be educated to at least GCSE level or possess vocabulary, verbal reasoning and numerical skills to the equivalent ability level. A track record of delivering excellent customer service, complimented by great interpersonal skills and an ability to communicate with a variety of audiences is essential. Excellent administration and organisational skills, with an ability to manage own workload and multitask is also required.

Applicants must be IT literate as the post requires work across a number of IT platforms as well as overseeing workflow distribution to other team members. The post holder is also required to ensure all relevant records are accurate, up to date and relevant. You must also be a competent user of Microsoft including: Word, Excel and Outlook.

Although not essential, experience of social housing, supported housing or a related field and knowledge of letting properties would also be highly beneficial
