Principal Sensor Task Management - (RF/EO/IR Systems)
This is a permanent role with a leading UK defence company.
Overview of the Principal Sensor Task Management permanent role
Development of algorithms for task management and varying levels of autonomous tasking methods.
Perform analysis and modelling to demonstrate the effectiveness of algorithms and control mechanisms.
Liaise with sensors and communications technical specialist teams to design mechanisms for control of the elements of the Sensor Suite.
Work to the system analysis approach, liaising with sensor and communication technical specialist teams.
Liaise with sensor and communication technical specialist teams to define and execute simulation environments.
Conduct dynamic systems modelling and simulation of integrated mission/sensor/communications systems.Key skills required for the Principal Sensor Task Management
Experience working with tasking of multiple RF / EO / IR sensor systems.
Background in modelling control systems and environments.
Proficiency in the use of mathematical modelling tools such as MATLAB and Simulink. Experience of embedded code generation and/or HDL code generation from MathWorks products is desirable.
Ability to work within a team with a high degree of design complexity and significant levels of uncertainty.
Knowledge of Radar, EO/IR and/or EW technology, performance, operational capabilities, and use.
