Systems Engineering Team Leader - Integrated Systems
A Systems Engineering Team Leader with Integrated Systems experience is required to work on a permanent contract for our defence client based in Luton.
This is a permanent role with a leading UK defence company.
Overview of the Systems Engineering Team Leader - Integrated Systems contract role
Working with and influencing key project stakeholders
Implementing and leading engineering lifecycle processes and reporting on key measures
Managing requirements through to V&V activities to enable successful product delivery
Manage and deliver WPs to cost, schedule, and quality requirements, iaw engineering processes and engineering plans
Supporting the provision of cost/schedule estimates and performing peer review for others
Developing and executing engineering plans, including the capture and management of risk
Manage the Team's capability provision (size/skill/experience)Key skills required for the Systems Engineering Team Leader - Integrated Systems
Ability to influence and lead the direction for requirements and design decisions.
Experience of people management and technical leadership
Strong track record of schedule creation and adherence with projects of high complexity.
Proven ability to deliver to agreed cost, schedule, and quality performance targets.
Ability to cope with design complexity and significant levels of uncertainty.
Knowledge of architecture frameworks tools and requirements management methods and tools (e.g. DOORS).
