40 hours per week (3 weekly rotation of 6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm, 10pm-6am)
GBP10.23 per hour

The Company
This company is a leading UK manufacturer within the kitchen trade. They supply all the large kitchen suppliers and have grown massively over the last 5 years. They have invested significantly in new factories, equipment, facilities and staff training. They are now recruiting for several Assembly Operatives. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing and successful manufacturing company.
About the Assembly Operative role:
In this Assembly Operative role you will be part of a team working within Production Department. This role would suit those who enjoy and have experience of a manufacturing environment
Accurately follow all maintenance procedures
Using hand tools to produce a flawless finish to Granite and Quartz
Checking the size and thickness of slabs to ensure suitability for the job
Checking the correct job card matches the job before starting cutting
Ensuring all cut pieces are labelled correctly Inc. Size, Product and Code
Keeping a safe and clean work area
Ensuring the job is completed in full before finishing
Visually inspecting the materials before and after processing to identify any defects or faults that need rectifying
Quality control, a keen eye for detail.
Shifts
You will be working 40 hours per week between Monday to Friday. You will be working a 3 shift rotating system, i.e. working 1 week of mornings, a week of afternoons, and then a week on night shifts.
About you:
We are ideally looking for experienced Assembly operatives with a machine/hand tool based manufacturing background who want to join a highly successful and growing local employer. You will ideally be familiar or have knowledge of;
