The San UK Regulatory Affairs team is looking for a proactive and extremely well organised individual who is well versed in the regulatory environment, risk management and how these impact San UK.
San UK Regulatory Affairs is part of Legal & Regulatory. This role will be responsible for providing Regulatory Risk & Control support to the team as well as supporting the regulatory policy agenda and coordinating regulatory requests and meetings as and when required.

As a Regulatory Risk & Controls Consultant your main responsibilities will be:
*Management and Payment of Regulatory fees (including UK Finance fees)
*Supporting colleagues with regulatory authorisations and reporting
*Internal reporting and liaison with Group Regulatory Affairs
*Operational Risk lead for the team - e.g. lead the annual RCSA process for Regulatory Affairs including review and management of actions/controls, and input into the overall RCSA for legal & Regulatory
*Support to the Regulatory Policy team such as summaries and circulation of regulatory news/developments
*Ad hoc coordination of regulatory requests and meetings as well as minute taking when required
Minimum skills and experience required:
*Experience in financial services, particularly the regulatory environment as well as Regulatory and Risk support
*Understanding of the importance of the regulatory agenda is paramount
*Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as stakeholder management
*Ability to remain calm under pressure and excellent organisation skills
