About the role:
Capita Life & Pensions International are currently seeking a high calibre Pensions Technician in their Belfast office.
You will provide specialist expertise to ensure key scheme events are completed in line with procedural and client requirements and within service level agreements and to provide a continually improving level of service in terms of quality, cost and time.
What you will do:
- Process transactions to agreed service levels adhering to the principles of Treating Customer Fairly, and where relevant within agreed financial authority limits.
- Contact customers by telephone, e-mail, fax or letter to efficiently resolve queries adhering to the principles of Treating Customer Fairly.
- Check the work of others where appropriate to ensure that standards of accuracy, clarity and financial integrity are maintained and designated authority limits are adhered to.
- Support and take an active role in service improvement initiatives/projects as required.
- Assist management team, including collation of supporting Management Information, where appropriate with daily tasks.
- Keep own knowledge relating to complex processing activities up-to-date. Maintains good understanding of products and services.
Your experience and skills will include:
- Previous experience of working in Financial Service within a regulatory environment.
- Good knowledge of relevant products, systems and processes, including up-to-date knowledge and recent experience of pensions products.
- Good communication and mathematical reasoning skills (5 GCSEs or equivalent).
- Competent keyboard/MS application skills.
- Good organisational and time management skills.
- Good analytical, problem solving and decision making skills.
