Mobile Chiller Engineer / Air Conditioning Engineer
A new Water Chiller Engineer / Air Con Engineer, is needed to join an established Manufacturer along the M3 / M4 Corridor. The new Service Engineer should ideally be based in Reading / Basingstoke areas.
This business actually manufacture their own chiller & HVAC products and happy to give training on equipment where necessary.
Chiller / Air Con Engineers Should Have;
A good base knowledge of maintenance & service duties on medium to large tonnage chillers.
Experience of chilled water systems from Carrier, York, McQuay, Climaveneta, Daikin, Trane, Bluebox, etc will be an advantage. Likewise experience on large central plant refrigeration systems & compressors (Gram, Sabroe, J&E Hall, etc) will be consider relevant & these skills are transferable to the role.
Service Technicians should be able to work on screw, scroll & recip compressor systems. Any skills on smaller AC & AHU's be useful as this could be required from time to time (around 10% of the Air Conditioning Engineers workload).
Air Con / Chiller Engineer need to be prepared to working on a regular basis in London & Home Counties.
Engineering tasks will cover:
Service & Maintenance
Fault Finding & Repairs
Qualifications should include;
Time Served Air Con & AC/Chiller Engineer OR C&G or NVQ 2 & /or Level 3 in Refrigeration & AC
Safe Handling of Refrigerants - F-Gas 2079 or CITB J11
Product courses on chillers & ac would be very beneficial
The business is happy to consider candidates with some experience of chillers that they can develop further!
The basic salary is around GBP29-35K plus full door to door travel time, overtime, SB, call out payments & package
