An opportunity has arisen for a Lift Repair Engineer to join the team at our Mansfield Branch, working throughout the Nottingham/ Derbyshire
The Lift Repair Engineer will be responsible for carrying out minor and major repairs on all types and manufacture of vertical lifts.
The ideal Lift Repair Engineer will have a comprehensive lift engineering background with the ability to carry out detailed fault finding on passenger lifts of various manufactures. It is essential that the lift engineer can project the friendly, professional image by which we are known, therefore, excellent communication skills and a smart appearance are as vital as technical competence.
A valid driving licence is essential to the role.
Responsibilities
* Refurbishment of all types and manufacturer of passenger goods lifts.
* Completion of Minor and Major repairs, both reactive and preventative, on all types and manufacturer of passenger / goods lifts.
* Completion of callouts and preventative maintenance visits on all types and manufacturer of passenger / goods lifts.
Qualifications:
* NVQ level 3 or equivalent is essential.
* Proven experience in the maintenance and minor repair on a range of electrical, mechanical or electronic equipment, in the customer's environment.
* Some experience of computer or PDA use is essential, as you will be required to use a mobile comms unit to log all calls and access customer and equipment information.
