Audit & Accounts Senior

Public Practice Specialists Taylor Rose Recruitment are working with a leading and highly progressive firm in Ipswich who are seeking to recruit an Accounts & Audit Senior to join their team.

Our client will tailor the role suit your skill-set and you will have the opportunity to work with clients across the spectrum including large groups, OMBs, LLPs, pension schemes and charities.

The successful individual will be responsible for leading external audits from planning to completion, the preparation and review of statutory accounts and leading teams of junior staff on site.

Responsibilities:

Oversee all aspects of the audit process from planning & fieldwork through to completion
Ensure planned audit work is appropriately completed to satisfy audit objectives
Control the audit in relation to timescales, budgets and risk management procedure
Preparation of statutory accounts
Corporation tax computations
Supervising & developing more junior members of staff
Dealing with ad hoc client queries

Requirements:

ACA / ACCA Qualified
ACCA/ ACA Finalist/ Part Qualified also considered
Experience of leading audits from planning to completion
Practice experience is essential
