We have an exciting apprenticeship opportunity for someone who is looking to start a career in housing, by working within our Homeless Prevention & Assessment Team.

If you are organised, keen to learn and want to develop new skills, which will help you provide advice and help to those in housing difficulty, then this opportunity may be for you.

You will be working closely with the team providing support to clients and help to develop a personal housing plan to clients threatened with homelessness.

You will have a ‘can do’ attitude and a desire to learn, with the commitment to undertake a Business Administration (Level 3) Apprenticeship at West Herts College. The role is a fantastic opportunity to gain knowledge, work experience and a qualification.

Applicants will have English and Maths GCSE grade C or above or equivalent and be competent in Microsoft office packages.

Full training about council services and the housing legislation will be given.

A Standard check will be undertaken with the Disclosure and Barring Service, to ensure that the successful candidates have no relevant convictions.
