Our client is a provider of affordable housing and support services in the East Midlands. They own and manage around 4,600 homes with a £22 million turnover and their mission is to work successfully with customers and communities to provide great services and high-quality living environments.

As part of a recent review of the Customer Directorate, they are introducing a new role for a Community Involvement Manager to provide leadership and direction to support aims to deliver a high performing Customer Engagement and Community Investment service.

Leading the Community Involvement team, you will evaluate, develop and improve services in line with existing strategies and report their progress against agreed priorities, customer feedback and KPI’s. You will continuously develop and promote the delivery of action plans ensuring they are compliant and maximise the efficiency and effectiveness of the service across the organisation.

Our client is looking for a customer-focused individual with experience of managing and developing involvement opportunities for customers. You will have previously managed projects and have experience coordinating staff to deliver objectives and targets. Knowledge of best practice approaches to customer involvement and an understanding of the regulatory environment for housing providers is essential for this position.

A willingness and ability to work a flexible working week, including some weekend and evenings, is required. You will also have a valid driving licence and use of a car for work purposes.
