Stafforce Recruitment are currently recruting an on-site supervisor to work alongside our team based at our clients site in Fraserburgh. You will be working in a fast paced food production facility assisiting with the management of our temporary workers and meeting and exceeding our clients expectations.
We are looking for an enthusiastic individual who enjoys supporting, coaching and meeting new people.
The main purpose of the role is to facilitate the smooth integration of new workers into the workplace. To mentor, coach and train when required.
Duties will include:-
To ensure all workers are present at the start of every shift, ensure all workers 'sign in' as per onsite protocols.
Inform the Stafforce Managed Services Account Specialist and the client line manager / supervisor if the workers numbers are lower than requested.
Allocate personal protective equipment as required.
Meet all new starters and conduct a site familiarisation tour.
To provide support and on the job training to all flexible workers - new and existing.
To be an additional 'visible' point of contact for workers and managers.
Report any breaches of Health & Safety policies and procedures.
Ensuring changing in and changing out procedures are followed.
To briefly explain the whole process chain of that particular production line and answer questions.
Skills required:-
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work on high volume production lines.
Ability to provide effective coaching and encouragement to new and existing workers.
High levels of accuracy and attention to detail.
Confidence to voice concerns and give appropriate direction.
Handle basic requests and / or escalate to Stafforce Managed Services if necessary.
Excellent customer service.
Ability to multi-task and prioritise.
Demonstrate excellent personal standards and expectations.
Demonstrate a self-motivated, pro-active, 'can do' approach.
Hours of work will be 40 hours per week. Flexibility with start times / weekends is necessary for this role.Stafforce is acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy
