Maintenance/Premises Technician (Assistant Caretaker) at John Port Spencer Academy

Salary: NJC points 5-6. Actual Salary £18,795 to £19,171 per annum

Full time (37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year)

Shift work will be required to suit the needs of the Academy

We are looking to appoint a Maintenance/Premises Technician (Assistant Caretaker) who will work with the Site and Facilities team on a daily basis. They will help to ensure the smooth running of the Academy premises and the safe operation of the site. The role will suit somebody who has a positive attitude, a flexible approach and is able to work under their own initiative. The successful candidate will have experience in basic maintenance skills including carpentry, plumbing and general maintenance. They will also be will be willing to learn new skills.
