St Gregory’s is a mixed secondary school, ages 11-18, with 1100 students (225 in Sixth Form) on roll. The school is on the outskirts of Tunbridge Wells and within easy distance of a main line station. London and the south coast are easily accessible.
Teaching Assistant – Term Time
The school wishes to appoint a Deaf Specialist Teaching Assistant to work with Deaf/deaf children across the curriculum. A TA with sign language skills is desirable, otherwise willingness to commit to learning BSL will be considered.
Hours of work will be Monday to Friday 8.30am – 4pm, (32.9167 hours p.w.), term time plus 5 non pupil days and the salary is Kent Range 6, £20,222 (£15,230 pro rata) and Kent Range 5, £18,704 (£14,087 pro rata) for an unqualified person.
