Job Purpose
Based our Manchester office the Recruitment Assistant works within the Recruitment team to support in providing a recruitment services for our business.
This is a fast paced and varied role which will involves administrative and some phone-based work as well as supporting managers with providing recruitment resources and us of our recruitment systems.
Key Result Areas
Posting job adverts and searching CV databases for suitable candidates
Reviewing applications for the required skills and experience
Maintaining our recruitment system, ensuring all data is kept up to date
Managing recruitment mailboxes and ensuring candidate enquiries are responded to in a timely fashion
Keeping candidates updated on the progress of their applications including sending of interview confirmation emails and issuing rejection letters to unsuccessful candidates
General administration duties for the wider recruitment function
Maintaining reports, recording accurate information on key recruitment metrics
Resolving phone queries and passing to the relevant individuals where appropriateKey Skills
High level of accuracy and an attention to detail
Previous experience in a high-volume administrative role
Previous experience in a resourcing or in-house recruitment role - advantageous but not essential)
An ability to quickly establish and maintain good working relationships at all levels both face to face and over the phone
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; portraying a confident and professional manner
Ability to prioritise competing demands appropriately
Organised with the ability to manage a high volume and varied workload in a busy, fast-paced environment
Previous experience of Microsoft Office including Excel and Outlook
Focus on delivery with excellent time management skills.
Strong team player.
Ability work well under pressure and use own initiative.Benefits
