Reach South Academy Trust is seeking an Higher Level Teaching Assistant to support one of our primary academies.

This is a temporary role to cover maternity leave from 11 November 2019 for a period of 12 months.

Salary Grade: Grade E

Hours/Contract: 28.75 hours per week (Mon-Fri), 39 weeks per year

Stoke Damerel Primary Academy requires an experienced HLTA or equivalent with IT and computing experience to join our team of HLTAs working across the school.

You will be responsible for covering classes when teachers are absent for PPA by delivering high quality computing lessons for Year 2 – 6 linked to our International Primary School Curriculum. The post will involve working closely with class teachers across a number of classes to support children developing their computing and IT skills and knowledge.

When not required for PPA cover or other teacher release time you will provide teaching assistant support in a Key Stage 2 class.

Preferred qualification HLTA or equivalent.  Relevant experience will be considered along with the willingness to obtain further qualification
