Estate Manager
Salary Range GBP35 - 38,500 per annum plus service charge (approx. GBP1200* per annum) & annual bonus
Estate Manager Overview
Reporting directly to the General Manager our Estates Manager will oversee the work of the Green keeping and Gardening Teams. It is no small feat to manage the championship golf course, woods, lakes, landscaped gardens and farmland that form part of the 1,065 acre Luton Hoo estate. Originally landscaped by Capability Brown, the Luton Hoo Gardens have featured in films and photo shoots and provides ample opportunities for our guests to explore both on foot and on two wheels!
As well as planning scheduled works, working within budgets, ensuring equipment maintenance and participating in the recruitment of staff as required, you will form an integral part of the management team that works to ensure our guests enjoy distinctly memorable experiences at all Elite Hotels.
Estate Manager Key Skills
With previous experience in land management - as a minimum you have been a Head Gardener for 2 years or more - you will also have a good knowledge of Health & Safety requirements and legislation
We would expect you to have a horticultural qualification as well as practical, operational experience - this is a hands on role.
You will also possess good interpersonal skills and be comfortable managing a diverse team
