The Trust has an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and delivery focussed individual to take up the role of the Living Landscape Programmes Manager.

Based in Edinburgh and Cumbernauld, with regular travel required to other locations throughout the country, the manager will input to the Living Landscape Programmes at a variety of levels.  They will provide strategic input and leadership to ensure the delivery of multiple partnership project objectives already in place, through to engaging with tasks to support the delivery of these projects.  In addition they will seek opportunities for the Trust to engage in and develop new high impact projects across the sharing, resourceful and active landscape-scale conservation community.

Monitoring, evaluating and reporting the impact of this work to funders, policy makers and stakeholders are all vital elements of this role.

The successful candidate will be educated to degree/HND level or have substantial experience in successfully managing extensive environmental work programmes.

They will have a strong track record in partnership working across a range of stakeholders, communities and geographic locations.   Importantly, they will have an understanding of practical and ecosystem scale nature conservation project management and land use policy, and how this aligns to local community engagement and empowerment.

Budget management skills, a natural communicator and the ability to develop and lead teams of partners, staff and volunteers will also be key to being successful in this role.
