The Face to Face Area Manager role is essential to ensure that our team of roving Membership Fundraisers are performing to the best of their ability, inspiring the public about our vital conservation work and raising vital membership income for the RSPB. You will be responsible for leading and managing a dispersed and remote team of up to 8 Membership Fundraisers attending events and private site venues across the Cambridge and Hertfordshire area. The ability to inspire your team to achieve stretching membership recruitment targets, motivate a remote and dispersed team and ensure an exceptional experience for all members of the public will be key to being successful in the role. You will also be responsible for ensuring your team adhere to all legal fundraising compliance standards for private site fundraising and represent the RSPB brand effectively, so previous experience of fundraising and the associated compliance standards is beneficial. If you are a natural leader with the ability to performance manage a team of sales individuals and inspire them to achieve excellent results then we want to hear from you.

The role will manage Membership Fundraisers across Cambridge and Hertfordshire so as well as being based here, a willingness and ability to travel in this area is essential to support your team. You will be provided with a work vehicle for all travel.
