This is a fantastic opportunity to join our team based in Consett! In the role of Yard Operative you will load and unload vehicles using a fork lift truck, emptying and disposing of all cardboard and waste product into the skips provided. Key Accountabilities for this position include:
Loading and unloading vehicles using counterbalance and reach fork lift trucks
Segregating waste into the appropriate skips and containers
Monitoring and informing stores management when skips need emptying
Actively keeping waste to a minimum during the assembly process
Ensuring that the area is kept clean and tidy to help promote a positive working environment

Main responsibilitiesTo be successful in this role, we are looking for candidates who have:
Good Literacy and Numeracy skills
Good problem solving skills
Proactive way of workingSkills and Experience which is preferred (But not essential):
L2 Food Safety
L2 Health and Safety
Reach & Counterbalance Forklift LicenseIdeal candidate
